The fees below do not include external entry fees for examinations and festivals. Details of entry fees for LAMDA Exams and the North London Festival can be found further down the page.

After-school classes

Introductory: £6 per hour
Foundation: £7.50 per hour
Intermediate: £9.50 per hour
Advanced: £12.50 per hour

School-holiday workshops

Three days: £20 per day (3 hours)
£55 for the full course
Four days: £20 per day (3 hours)
£70 for the full course

Teacher Training: Preparing Students for LAMDA Exams

Morning or afternoon session only: £40

Full day: £75

Full course (all five sessions must be booked at the same time): £180

These prices include lunch/tea and a certificate.

Mornings run from 10.30am–1.30pm; afternoons from 2.30-5.30pm. Trainees attending a morning only or an afternoon only are nevertheless invited to lunch (1.30–2.30pm).

The Playing Space Gold

(five hours per week over fourteen weeks)
Total course fee: £400

Classes at your School

All fees are inclusive of VAT.

Drama Club

£4 per child per class (1 hour).

Learn Through Drama

Our teachers can work with one class of up to 30 children at a time. We assume that the class teacher will be present. If your school has a two- or three- class intake, we reduce the fee.

Foundation and KS1: £65 per workshop (1 hour)
Two F/KS1 workshops: £115
Three F/KS1 workshops: £150
Key Stage 2: £85 per workshop (1½ hours)
Two KS2 workshops: £150
Three KS2 workshops: £195

Movers and Shakers

One session: £4

Six sessions: £20   Sessions need not be consecutive but do still need to be booked in advance.

Siblings

Under 6 months: free

Over 6 months: £3 for one session; £15 for six sessions

Classes at Camspace Community Centre and Highgate Children’s Centre are subsidised. For the exact price, please contact the centre direct.

Please note that classes need to be at least 75 percent full to run, otherwise the cost per student will be higher.

In order for us to provide LAMDA classes at these low prices, your school must guarantee The Playing Space at least half a day’s teaching (4 classes).

Private Classes

LAMDA classes at your home

For 1–2 students: £35 per hour

For 3–6 students: £45 per hour

Please note that at Advanced Level (age 14+) there is a maximum of 4 students in a group.

Private Teacher-training sessions at our studio

2-hour session:

£95 per individual; £25 for each additional trainee

5-hour session:

£250 for a group of up to 6 trainees; £35 for each additional trainee

  • Preparing Students for LAMDA Performance Exams
  • Acting Theory for the LAMDA Medal Exams
