Out-of-School Classes
We run a full programme of weekly classes for all ages at our studios in Southgate and other North London venues. At The Playing Space, students learn a range of performance and communication skills and have the opportunity to take part in LAMDA Exams, drama festivals and full productions.

Groups and Levels
Our students are grouped into five levels, according to age. We keep our group sizes small to ensure that everybody gets plenty of attention. These groups are flexible, as we like to accommodate students who want to come on a particular day or who want to be in a class with their friends.
Group sizes get smaller as students progress up the levels. Students at higher levels need to work in smaller groups in order to cover the syllabus.

School Holidays
The Playing Space term dates are in line with the Borough of Enfield. There are no classes during half-term breaks or school holidays. However, The Playing Space also runs a programme of exciting holiday workshops and a fabulous summer drama camp.
I would recommend this club to anyone and cannot wait for my son to go again. The difference it made to his confidence in just a week was fantastic.
Trial Period
We offer all new students a trial period so that they can settle in to their drama class before committing to a full term. During their first half-term at The Playing Space (which is usually between five and seven weeks), you can give notice at any time. Any unused fees will be refunded from this point. After the trial period has elapsed, we ask for a minimum of one month’s notice if you wish to stop attending classes. Full details are in our Refunds and Cancellations policy.
LAMDA Exams
All students at The Playing Space have the option of taking a LAMDA Exam in subjects including acting, public speaking, verse and prose reading and devising.
